The CP 1243-1 PCC (Plant Cloud Connect) is a communication processor for the safe connection of the SIMATIC S7-1200 via the public infrastructure (Internet, DSL) to a Siemens Operation Center.

The CP reads the data provided for the services from the CPU and transmits it via a safe connection to the Operation Center. In order to obtain a prediction about the status of your plant, or your devices, the Operation Center collects and analyzes the plant information received in this way. By means of the integral firewall, the CP permits protected access to the S7-1200.
